Un progetto di riqualificazione totale, per rendere gli spazi e l’intera struttura ricettiva più contemporanea. Un dialogo stilistico comune per le diverse aree che compongono l’Hotel, da quelle comuni alle camere, al roof lounge & bar; mantenendo attenzione alle singole funzionalità. Una vista unica fronte mare, la richiesta, di ottenere ambienti raffinati ed eleganti, questo è il target di riferimento. L’ interpretazione, una sapiente proposta di linee essenziali, trattate con materiali e cromie molto ricercate, dagli avori ai carboni per passare dalle finiture ebano agli ottoni; le ombre dettate da un sapiente progetto “luce”, definiscono silouette ed esaltano trasparenze come quelle ottenute dalla traslucenza degli onici e dei marmi trattati con inedite texture.

A total redevelopment project, to make the spaces and the entire accommodation facility more contemporary. A common stylistic dialogue for the different areas that make up the Hotel, from those common to the rooms, to the roof lounge & bar; keeping attention to the single functionalities. A unique view facing the sea, the request, to obtain refined and elegant environments, this is the target audience. The interpretation, a wise proposal of essential lines, treated with highly sought-after materials and colors, from ivory to carbon to go from ebony to brass finishes; the shadows dictated by a skilful “light” project define silhouettes and enhance transparencies such as those obtained from the translucency of onyxes and marbles treated with unusual textures.

Un progetto di riqualificazione di una architettura che risale al 1930 del secolo scorso, che ospiterà la mia “Casa di Moda Davide Muccinelli” e tutte le molteplici attività che ho previsto all’interno di questi spazi. Nell’ intervento di riqualificazione ho voluto incidere minimamente nell’affascinante architettura, cercando solo di valorizzarne dettagli ed elementi distintivi, il tutto armonizzando con una cromia “carbone” che diventa protagonista e che gioca a contrasto con le corti di pertinenza in un’ottica di sostenibilità. Lo spazio doveva rimanere neutro e neutrale per ospitare abiti di alta moda, espressioni artistiche di diversa natura, proiezioni, aree di dialogo e seminari, spazi convertibili con facilità in aule formative o salotti di confronto; una sfida complessa che mi ha visto contemporaneamente committente e progettista.

A redevelopment project of an architecture that dates back to 1930 of the last century, which will host my “Casa di Moda Davide Muccinelli” and all the many activities that I have planned within these spaces. In the redevelopment intervention I wanted to make a minimal impact on the fascinating architecture, trying only to enhance its details and distinctive elements, all harmonizing with a “coal” color scheme that becomes the protagonist and plays in contrast with the pertinent courtyards with a view to sustainability. The space had to remain neutral and neutral to host haute couture clothes, artistic expressions of various kinds, screenings, dialogue areas and seminars, spaces that could easily be converted into training classrooms or discussion lounges; a complex challenge that saw me as client and designer at the same time.

Un progetto speciale, MONOGRAM_DM Il progetto nasce evolvendo e sviluppando il monogramma della mia Casa di Moda. Una texture che si sviluppa tra elementi pieni e corposi a siloutte al tratto, come bilanciamento spaziale. La base gold, ne identifica un’accento sulle pareti come le declinazioni cromatiche della texture monogrammate, che possono diventare spunto di colore per pareti tinte a riposo. La soluzione è adatta per interni Residenziali come per strutture ricettive, come Hotel e Resort.

A special project, MONOGRAM_DM The project was born by evolving and developing the monogram of my fashion house. A texture that develops between full and full-bodied elements in line siloutte, as a spatial balance. The gold base identifies an accent on the walls as well as the chromatic variations of the monogrammed texture, which can become a hint of color for rest-colored walls. The solution is suitable for Residential interiors as well as for hospitality structures, such as Hotels and Resorts.

UVR_ Oggetti e complementi di arredo. Elementi creati con un approccio ludico per un fashion brand, che ha richiesto oggetti materici per i propri clienti. Forme essenziali, con un materiale antico come la ceramica, trattano e rielaborano la manualità di un bambino, per diventare una collezione di oggetti contemporanei.

UVR_ Objects and furnishing accessories. Elements created with a playful approach for a fashion brand, which required material objects for its customers. Essential forms, with an ancient material such as ceramic, treat and rework the manual skills of a child, to become a collection of contemporary objects.

OT07026_ Oggetti e complementi di arredo. Sono i colori della terra, del mare e del cielo dell’isola Sardegna. La materia è il gres colore carbone, come quello che veniva estratto dalle cave sarde del sulcis, portato in evidenza con un intervento manuale di pulizia dell’ingobbio bianco dai bordi prima dell’immersione nella vetrina semitrasparente colorata, per evidenziarne il cuore e l’anima di ogni manufatto. Ho ritrattato per per questa collezione forme primitive essenziali, come gli elementi delle texture decorative ottenute per impressione del monogramma del brand o tramite l’antica tecnica del graffito. Un progetto con grandi contenuti storici reso contemporaneo grazie ai maestri artigiani tornitori con il quale ho collaborato. Oggetti di design completamente realizzati a mano.

Sviluppo collezione di prodotto per l’interior design e per l’architettura. Una sfida, rielaborare una micro-texture che potesse evocare le finissime maglie metalliche delle armature, rendendo contemporaneo un prodotto con una forte connotazione storica.La superficie sul quale ottenere tale finitura estetica quella delle grandi lastre ceramiche, apportandone una micro -tridimensionalità apprezzabile al tatto e nel controluce.Uno studio approfondito di materie, grafiche e possibilità tecniche per ottenere una nuova superficie per l’Interior Design e per l’Architettura.Cromie che spaziano dagli Argenti agli Ori fino alle Ghise per creare opzioni di utilizzo in allestimenti contemporanei con un forte impatto visivo e scenografico.

Development product collection for interior design and architecture. A challenge, to rework a micro-texture that could evoke the very fine metal meshes of the armor, making a product with a strong historical connotation contemporary.The surface on which to obtain this aesthetic finish is that of large ceramic slabs, giving them a micro-three-dimensionality that is appreciable to the touch and against the light.An in-depth study of materials, graphics and technical possibilities to obtain a new surface for Interior Design and Architecture.Colors ranging from Silver to Gold to Cast Iron to create options for use in contemporary settings with a strong visual and scenographic impact.

LA SFIDA_ Come Dir.ne Artistico e Progettuale, coniugare i diversi immobili realizzati ed aggregati dagli anni  1960 e nei successivi 40 anni, con quello che è il core businnes dell’Azienda: Proposte Creative in ambito Interior Design.

LA SCELTA_ Omogeneizzare cromaticamente l’esterno di tutti gli immobili dell’Azienda, che si affacciano su ambo i lati dell’intera Via Falzarego. Il colore “Grigio Cemento” e la finitura con la particolare grana elaborata con l’Azienda Mappei, diventano il protagonista degli interventi di riqualificazione, sottolineati dai macronumeri in sottotinta “latte” dei diversi numeri civici, dettaglio grafico che anticipa al visitatore la propensione del tratto e propensione grafica dell’Azienda stessa. Un’approccio di sostenibilità ha contraddistinto l’Intervento di riqualificazione.Gli interni elaborati allo stesso modo, dove il tono “latte” sale sulle pareti e soffittature ed il “Grigio Cemento”, scende a ricoprite le diverse pavimentazioni e superfici omogeneizzandolo, con eccezione della “ex Officina” ora spazio espositivo, interattivo  e di dialogo con gli ospiti, dove viene mantenuto a terra il colore e superficie delle ceramiche in gress rosso annullate dai molteplici strati applicati dei decenni, colr “carbone” della pece.L’accesso principale della struttura viene identificata con un macro banner che riporta ed enfatizza la pagina bianca ancora da scrivere (e comunque scrivere in modo personalizzato per ogni cliente) del “block notes” utilizzato come base cartacea e virtuale dalla struttura commerciale.

THE CHALLENGE_ As an Artistic and Design Director, to combine the different buildings built and aggregated from the 1960s and the subsequent 40 years, with what is the core business of the Company: Creative Proposals in the Interior Design field.

THE CHOICE_ Chromatically homogenize the exterior of all the company’s properties, which overlook both sides of the entire Via Falzarego. The “Cement Gray” color and the finish with the particular grain developed with the Mappei Company, become the protagonist of the redevelopment interventions, underlined by the macronumbers in the “milk” undertone of the various house numbers, a graphic detail that anticipates the visitor’s propensity for trait and graphic propensity of the Company itself. A sustainability approach characterized the redevelopment intervention.The interiors elaborated in the same way, where the “milk” tone rises on the walls and ceilings and the “Cement Gray”, descends to cover the different floors and surfaces, homogenizing it, with the exception of the “ex Officina” now an exhibition, interactive and dialogue space with the guests, where the color and surface of the red gress ceramics are kept on the ground, canceled out by the multiple layers applied over the decades, with the “charcoal” color of pitch.The all of the structure is identified with a macro banner that shows and emphasizes the blank page still to be written (and in any case written in a personalized way for each customer) of the “block notes” used as a paper and virtual base by the commercial structure.

Sviluppo collezione di prodotto per l’interior design e per l’architettura. Fondere emozioni che uniscono due tra gli elementi più antichi che l’uomo abbia forgiato: il Metallo e la Ceramica, alla base di questo progetto. L’obiettivo riportare l’estetica ottenuta delle ossidazioni che vanno ad alterare superficialmente le leghe dei metalli, esaltando superfici più materiche e interessanti. La sfida riportare tale estetica su un prodotto cotto ad oltre 1200, conferendo resistenza, prestazionalità in interni ed esterni e sostenibilità. Lo sviluppo ha previsto un’importante ricerca di messa a punto grafica e d’incisione dei particolari applicatori, per ottenere una superficie materica ed interessante anche al tatto. La scelta cromatica è stata sviluppata dai Titani alle tonalità del Ferro fino alle Ghise, per soddisfare molteplici soluzioni ed abbinamenti. Grazie al sottilissimo spessore e grandi dimensioni di tali lastre il progetto può essere trattato nella sua totalità con un approccio coordinato.

Development product collection for interior design and architecture. Blending emotions that unite two of the most ancient elements that man has forged: Metal and Ceramics, at the base of this project. The goal is to bring back the aesthetics obtained from the oxidations that superficially alter the metal alloys, enhancing more material and interesting surfaces. The challenge is to bring this aesthetic back to a cooked product at over 1200, giving strength, performance indoors and outdoors and sustainability. The development involved an important research in graphic development and engraving of the particular applicators, to obtain a material surface that is also interesting to the touch. The chromatic choice has been developed from the Titans to the shades of Iron up to the Cast iron, to satisfy multiple solutions and combinations. Thanks to the very thin thickness and large dimensions of these slabs, the project can be treated in its entirety with a coordinated approach.

La passione per la materia, il colore, il passato che ritorna ritrattato nelle forme, ludiche e cromie contemporanee. Il Gres un materiale che viene dalla madre terra, materie prime pregiate che trattate ad altissima temperatura diventano una finitura con alte prestazioni e nuove estetiche. Il processo prima della cottura è l’estrusione che permette di trattenere le incertezze di un processo altamente artigianale, per porle come elemento distintivo.

The passion for the material, the color, return the past that is portrayed in contemporary forms, playful and colors. Stoneware is a material that comes from mother earth, precious raw materials that, when treated at very high temperatures, become a finish with high performance and new aesthetics. The process before cooking is the extrusion that allows to retain the uncertainties of a highly artisanal process, to place them as a distinctive element.
